One Person Charged

(BRANT, ON) - Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation in Brant County.

On March 21, 2026, at approximately 3:10 am, Brant County OPP responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the County of Brant.

As a result of the investigation, a 60-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with, Mischief - Destroys or Damages Property.

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, on May 7th, 2026.

Brant County OPP would like to stipulate that an individual who is living in a matrimonial or common law home, does not have the right to destroy or damage shared property or property belonging to the other individual.
