(CARLETON PLACE, ON)- The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Carleton Place resident with offences including sexual assault.
Officers began an investigation on Sunday, January 11, 2026, regarding allegations of sexual assault. As a result of the investigation a 25-year-old man was arrested and charged with:
- Sexual assault
- Assault
The male was released from custody and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on a later date.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
