Name of Deceased Released
(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is releasing the identity of the deceased in relation to a homicide investigation in Perth.
On Sunday, April 12, 2026, at approximately 3:15 pm, officers responded to Last Duel Park, where one person was located with life-threatening injuries. The individual was transported to a trauma centre and later pronounced deceased.
The deceased has been identified as Christo ALLISON RICHARDS, 34 years old of Ottawa.
Police believe this incident was targeted with no signs of a broader threat. The investigation remains ongoing.
