(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Lanark County OPP officers began an investigation of intimate partner violence on Tuesday, September 3, 2025.
As a result of investigation, a 29-year-old male from Almonte has been charged with:
- Assault
- Mischief - three counts
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, October 6, 2025.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
