MOTORIST CHARGED AFTER SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION

(TAY VALLEY TWP, ON) - - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Tay Valley Township resident with impaired driving.
Officers responded to vehicle in the ditch on Bolingbroke Road on Monday, September 29, 2025, just before 1:00 pm
The officers located the vehicle, arrested the driver, and transported the individual to the OPP Detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Angela PENSA, 61-years-old, of Tay Valley Township, has been charged with:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Novice driver - B.A.C above zero
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday October 27, 2025.
The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
