MOTORIST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Drummond-North Elmsley Township resident with impaired driving.
Lanark County OPP received a traffic complaint on Friday, July 4, 2025, just after 9:00 pm Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Perth. The officers arrested the driver and transported the individual to the OPP detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Kourtney KINCH, 32-years-old, of Drummond-North Elmsley Township, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, July 28, 2025.
The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
