CHARGES LAID IN BREAK AND ENTER CASE

(MISSISSIPPI MILLS TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a break and enter investigation at a residence in Mississippi Mills Township.
Lanark County OPP officers investigated after a report of a Break and Enter in progress was received on Friday, February 20, 2026, just before 12:00 am Officers located the suspect on foot a short distance away and arrested the male.
As a result of the investigation, Dustin AMOS, 27-years-old has been charged with:
- Trespass at night
- Break and enter
- Fail to comply with probation - two counts
- Possession of break and enter tools
- Possession of false identity documents
- Possession of a suspected Schedule III substance - psilocybin
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on February 26, 2026.
