(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid a charge following a report of a young person uttering threats towards others.
Lanark County OPP officers responded to a local school on Monday, March 23, 2026, after receiving a complaint about a youth sending communications threatening harm to others.
As a result of the investigation, a male youth has been charged with uttering threats to cause death or serious bodily harm.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.
The name of the accused will not be released as the accused is a young person.
