(PERTH, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following an intimate partner violence investigation.
Lanark County OPP officers began an investigation on Friday, February 6, 2026, of a reported incident that occurred in January.
As a result of investigation, a 37-year-old male from Perth has been charged with:
- Criminal harassment
- Break and enter
- Forcible confinement
The accused was held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth at a later time.
The name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
