MOTORIST CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED DRIVING

(DRUMMOND-NORTH ELMSLEY TWP, ON) - The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Tay Valley Township resident with impaired driving.
Officers while on patrol on Drummond Concession 8A in Drummond-North Elmsley Township conducted a traffic stop on Saturday, April 25, 2026, just after 12:15 am
The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Perth for testing.
As a result of the investigation, Nathan CLOWERY, 20 years old, has been charged with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, June 8, 2026.
The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
