DRIVER CHARGED AFTER COLLISION CRASH TRUCK

(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) - The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Essex County Detachment has charged a person following a collision with a commercial motor vehicle affixed with a Crash Attenuator or “crash truck”.
On October 21, 2025, at approximately 8:49 am, a Tractor Trailer collided with a “crash truck” providing protection to workers on the eastbound Highway 401, Town of LaSalle.
The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured, the operator of the Crash Truck was transported to hospital as a precaution.
As a result of the investigation, a 47-year-old male from Hamilton, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving.
