(KINGSVILLE ON) - A driver has been charged following a traffic stop in Kingsville.

At approximately 7:45 am on March 6, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffc stop on County Road 20, in the Town of Kingsville.

Rafael Alejandro MEDINA LOPEZ, 36-years-old of Leamington was charged with the following Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act offences:

  • Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
  • Owner Operate a Motor Vehicle Without Insurance

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on May 25. 2026, to answer to the charges

The driver’s license has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
