OPP EXECUTES SEARCH WARRANT IN HARROW

(ESSEX, ON) - Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have located over $145000 in firearms, money and drugs after executing a search warrant.
On Wednesday, May 20, 2026 and Thursday May 21, search warrants were executed at a residence on Erie View Avenue in Harrow (Town of Essex) by members of the Essex County OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), OPP Urban Search and Rescue, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive Response Team (UCERT), the Essex County OPP Crime Unit, the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), and the OPP Canine Unit Vinny and his handler. Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) loaned a backscatter (handheld x-ray machine) to assist OPP in the search.
Total value of located stolen property which included five firearms, ammunition, cash and suspected drugs during the execution of the warrant exceeded $145000.
Investigation is continuing with possible future charges.
