(ESSEX, ON) - A driver has been charged following a traffic stop in Essex.
At approximately 10:57 pm on March 19, 2026, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 3, in the Town of Essex.
Batch Samba BAH, 21-year-old from Windsor was charged with the following Highway Traffic Act offences:
- Drive Motor Vehicle - Perform Stunt - Excessive Speed
- Drive Motor Vehicle - No Currently Validated Permit
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on June 8, 2026 to answer to the charges.
The driver’s license has been suspended for 30 days, and the vehicle has been inpounded for 14 days.
