TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO NUMEROUS CHARGES

(TECUMSEH, ON) - One person has been charged following a traffic stop in Tecumseh.

On June 27, 2025, at approximately 1:44 am, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Tecumseh Road East in the Town of Tecumseh.

Kyle DROUILLARD, 21-years-old of Lasalle, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act offences:

  • Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
  • Dangerous Operation
  • Failure of refusal to comply with demand
  • Red Light - Fail to Stop
  • Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
  • Young driver - B.A.C. above zero

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Windsor on July 15, 2025, to answer to the charges.
