Update on occurrence
(TECUMSEH, ON) - OPP investigating incident in Tecumseh.
On Thursday, February 26, 2026, at approximately 2:12 pm, members of the Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), responded to a reported weapons related call on Aloha Drive in the Town of Tecumseh.
Upon arrival on Aloha Drive, officers encountered a white Ram pickup and black Dodge Challenger near the residence. Both vehicles fled the scene and police briefly pursued and attempted to stop them. The two vehicles failed to stop, and they collided with each other at Tecumseh Road and Lesperance Road, which disabled the Challenger. The Ram left the collision towards Windsor. The pursuit was terminated for public safety reasons.
The two occupants inside the Challenger were arrested. The white Ram pickup truck and its occupants are still outstanding.
There were no injuries during the incident.
