(LAKESHORE, ON) - Members of the Lakeshore Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a youth following an investigation in Belle River.
On Wednesday, February 18, 2026, members of the Lakeshore OPP responded to a report of threats.
As a result, a 13 year-old Lakeshore resident was arrested and charged with:
- Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
There were no public safety concerns associated with this incident.
There were no injuries.
The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
