MOTORCYCLE COLLISION CAUSES ROAD CLOSURE

(ESSEX COUNTY, ON) - The Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating a single vehicle motor collision causing a road closure on Highway 401.
On May 21, 2026, at approximately 7:55 pm, the Essex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services attended Highway 401 near Todd Lane in Lasalle for a single motorcycle collision into the barrier.
A 28-yr-old from Windsor was transported to hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision remains under investigation by Essex County OPP, and Highway 401 was closed, however is now open.
