SHOPLIFTER CHARGED IN TECUMSEH

(TECUMSEH, ON)- An individual was charged following a shoplifting investigation in Tecumseh.
At approximately 7:49 pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, members from the Tecumseh Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment responded to a report of a shoplifting incident at a business in the 400 block of Manning Road in the Town of Tecumseh.
The investigation determined that an individual entered a business, concealed merchandise, and exited without making payment. When officers arrived on scene, the individual attempted to flee on foot. After a short foot pursuit, the individual was taken into custody.
57-year-old Jody SINCLAIR from Windsor, has been charged with the following alleged offence:
- Theft under $5,000 - shoplifting
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on September 12, 2025.
