DRIVER FACING IMPAIRED CHARGES

(WARWICK, ON) - An individual from Sarnia is facing impaired driving-related charges following a traffic stop in Warwick Township.
On April 11, 2026, at approximately 12:30 am, members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Highway 402 in Warwick Township.
As a result of the investigation, Jessica GILLILAND, 32-years-old, of Sarnia, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
- Operation while Impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Drive without proper rear light - motor vehicle
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on May 4, 2026.
