OPP CHARGE DRIVER FOLLOWING SINGLE-VEHICLE ROLLOVER

(PETROLIA, ON) - One individual has been charged following a single-vehicle rollover in the Town of Petrolia.
On February 17, 2026, just after 11:00 am, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a collision at the intersection of Petrolia Line and Oil Heritage Road.
Investigation determined that a van towing a trailer lost control at the intersection, struck a curb, left the roadway, and rolled.
No injuries were reported.
As a result of the investigation, a 42-year-old individual of Chatham has been charged under the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
- Careless driving
- Driver fail to surrender licence
