SUDDEN DEATH INVESTIGATION IN FOREST

(FOREST, ON) - Members from the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a sudden death in Forest.
On Thursday, October 2, 2025, at approximately 6:22 pm, police responded to a construction accident on King Street West in which and individual suffered life-threatening injuries.
A 26-year-old individual from Mexico was transported to a local hospital by Emergency Medical Services and later pronounced deceased.
The death is not considered suspicious.
Members of the OPP Forensic Identification Services, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner attended the scene.
The Ministry of Labour is continuing the investigation.
