TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(PLYMPTON-WYOMING, ON) - An individual is facing charges following a traffic stop in Plympton-Wyoming.
On April 25, 2026, just before 1:00 am, members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting general patrol when they initiated a traffic stop on Oil Heritage Road, south of London Line.
As a result, Zachery ETHIER, 25-year-old of Plympton-Wyoming, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and the Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on June 15, 2026.
