POLICE SEEKING WITNESS FOLLOWING FAIL TO REMAIN COLLISION

(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking assistance from the public following a fail to remain collision in St. Clair Township.

On May 9, 2026, at approximately 10:15 am, Lambton OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Main Street in Courtright.

Investigation determined that an orange four-door sport utility vehicle (SUV) reversed out of a driveway and struck a Dodge Ram pickup truck that was parked on the roadway. The SUV then fled the scene and was last observed travelling southbound on St. Clair Parkway.

A witness notified the vehicle owner of the collision but left prior to police arrival.

Police are looking to identify and speak with the witness who came forward, along with any other individuals who may have witnessed the collision or have information related to the incident.
