(ENNISKILLEN, ON) - A driver has been charged following a traffic stop in Enniskillen Township.

On March 27, 2026, at approximately 12:10 am, members of Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a traffic stop on Lasalle Line near Oil Heritage Road.

As a result of the investigation, Larry GORDON, 68-years-old, of Petrolia, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with the following offences:

  • Operation while Impaired - alcohol and drugs
  • Operation while Impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
  • Improper number plate light

A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.

The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in the City of Sarnia on May 4, 2026.
