(CORUNNA, ON) - One individual is deceased following a single-vehicle collision in Corunna.

On December 31, 2025, at approximately 10:45 pm, the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), along with St. Clair Township Fire Department and Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a report of a collision on Bentinck Street after a passenger vehicle struck a tree.

A 20-year-old individual from Corunna was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Bentinck Street is currently closed between Cameron Street and Moore Street. The road closure is expected to remain in place for several hours to allow for the investigation.

Members of the Lambton OPP continue to investigate the collision with the assistance from the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) Team.
