(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) - Members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance following a single motor vehicle collision that escalated into an assault.

On December 17, 2025, at approximately 6:15 am, police responded to a report of a single vehicle collision on Kimball Road, south of Bentpath Line, in St. Clair Township. A vehicle had left the roadway and came to rest in a ditch. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

The investigation determined that while a passerby stopped to offer assistance, a second vehicle also stopped. The driver of that vehicle then assaulted both the passerby and the individual involved in the collision before leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as:

  • Black female
  • White braided hair
  • White glasses
  • Wearing a grey tracksuit

As a result of the assault, one individual sustained minor injuries.

The investigation remains ongoing.
