POLICE SEEKING ASSISTANCE TO IDENTIFY PERSON OF INTEREST IN CREDIT CARD FRAUD INVESTIGATION

(CORUNNA, ON) - The Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a credit card fraud investigation.
On May 19, 2026, members of the Lambton County OPP received a report of a stolen wallet.
The investigation determined the wallet had been stolen from an unknown location on May 16, 2026. Later that day, the victim discovered approximately $1,700 in unauthorized transactions had been made using the credit card at a business in Corunna, including purchase of gift cards.
The suspect is described as:
- White male
- Reddish-brown beard
- 20 to 30 years of age
- Seen wearing dark clothing, a medical mask, and a rainbow-coloured bucket hat
