POLICE INVESTIGATING A DISTURBANCE

SEEKING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE
(GRAND BEND, ON) - Members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are investigating an aggravated assault and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.
On May 17, 2026, at approximately 2:28 am, members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) investigated a disturbance on Main Street between Harvey Avenue and Donaldson Street, in Grand Bend, Municipality of Lambton Shores.
One 18-year-old male was taken to the South Huron Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Lambton County Crime Unit is continuing the investigation and is requesting businesses or the residents in the area to check their Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance footage for any evidence at the time of the incident.
