DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED AFTER COLLISION IN LAURENTIAN VALLEY

(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP., ON.) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver after a collision in Laurentian Valley Township.
On May 24, 2026, just after 10:30 pm, OPP officers responded to a single vehicle collision at the intersection of B Line Rd and Pembroke St. West. There were no injuries as a result of the collision. One driver was transported to detachment for testing.
MOHIT, 25 years old, of Pembroke was charged with impaired operation.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on June 22, 2026.
