RIDE PROGRAM RESULTS IN DRUG CHARGES

(PEMBROKE, ON) - Chapeau, Quebec and City of Pembroke residents are facing Controlled drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) charges after the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) conducted a proactive RIDE program.
On the evening of April 3, 2026, members of the UOV OPP were conducting a RIDE program in the City of Pembroke. After stopping a vehicle on Mackay Street, two individuals were arrested.
As a result of the incident 31-year-old Thomas KEHOE and 44-year-old Luciano COSTANTE have been charged with possession of a schedule one substance.
The accused were released and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 4, 2026.
