POLICE INVESTIGATE DOMESTIC DISPUTE IN PETAWAWA

(Petawawa, ON) - Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) laid charges against an area resident after investigating a domestic dispute.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2026, shortly before 10:00 am, officers responded to a report of a dispute involving two individuals in the Town of Petawawa.
As a result of the investigation, a 55-year-old from Pembroke has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
- Fail to comply with probation order
- Mischief under $5,000
The accused was arrested and held in custody pending a bail hearing before the Ontario Court of Justice.
