TWO PEOPLE SERIOUSLY HURT IN TWO VEHICLE CRASH IN FOYMOUNT

(BONNECHERE VALLEY TWP., ON) - One person had to be airlifted to a regional trauma centre after a two-vehicle collision in the Foymount area, south of Killaloe.

Members of the Upper Ottawa Valley Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and other first responders were called to the scene around noon on Friday, December 12, 2025.

The collision, involving a sport utility vehicle and a van, happened at the intersection of Foymount Road and Sebastopol Drive. Firefighters had to extricate one person from the wreckage of the van. That 34-year-old had serious injuries and was transported to a regional trauma centre by Air Ornge. The other driver, a 53-year-old woman, was also injured and was transported to hospital by paramedics.

The road was reopened around 6:00 pm
