(PEMBROKE, ON.) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired after a complaint at a local business.

On September 17, 2025, just before 11:30 pm, OPP officers were called to a local business on Pembroke St. west in the City of Pembroke. Police attended and spoke to the person at their vehicle. As part of the investigation a Roadside Screening Device was utilized, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Pascal GOSSELIN-PAQUET, 38 years old, of Beauceville was charged with impaired operation.

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 20, 2025.
