(LAURENTIAN VALLEY TWP., ON.) - The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired after a single vehicle rollover.

On September 9, 2025, just after 10:00 pm, OPP officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch on Stafford Second line in Laurentian Valley Township. The lone person in the vehicle suffered no injuries. As part of the investigation a Roadside Screening Device was utilized, and the driver was transported to the detachment for further testing.

Adam KLAWITTER, 22 years old, of Laurentian Valley Township was charged with impaired operation.

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on October 6, 2025.
