FRAUD INVESTIGATION IN MIDDLESEX CENTRE

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police investigating a fraud occurrence in Middlesex Centre.
On January 20, 2026, at 10:01 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address in Middlesex Centre, for the report of a fraud.
Investigation revealed the victim received an unsolicited phone call indicating their credit card had been compromised.
In an effort to better assist the victim, two suspects attended the residence and proceeded to obtain banking information as well as passwords.
The suspects, an Asian male, approximately 30-years-old and an approximately 25-year-old black male each arrived at the residence driving dark coloured vehicles.
Shortly after, multiple purchases were made, totaling approximately $3,000.
The investigation is continuing.
