TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.
On March 21, 2026, at 2:52 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while on general patrol in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, observed a suspicious vehicle at the intersection of Medway Road and Ilderton Road.
A traffic stop was initiated at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, Nathan HENNESSY, a 30-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Red light - fail to stop
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London to speak to the charges on April 21, 2026.
