YOUTH CHARGED IN DORCHESTER

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - One youth has been charged after a disturbance in Dorchester.
On April 1, 2026, at 6:16 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a 2066 Dorchester Road, Municipality of Thames Centre for the report of a disturbance.
As a result, a 16-year-old of Zorra Township was taken into custody without incident and charged with Uttering Threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm and Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose (two counts) under the Criminal Code.
The youth has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court in London to speak to the charges.
The youth’s identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
