TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE

(THAMES CENTRE, ON) - Driver charged with impaired after traffic complaint received of possible impaired driver.
On April 30, 2026, at 12:36 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to Elgin Road near Dundas Street in the Municipality of Thames Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle was located in the ditch on Elgin Road as officers arrived on scene.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Kathryn DENOMME, a 51-year-old of Lakeside, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 26, 2026.
