SINGLE VEHICLE COLLISION LEADS TO IMPAIRED BY DRUG CHARGE

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver facing impaired by drug charge after single vehicle collision.
On January 26, 2026, at 7:17 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to the report of a single vehicle collision on Adelaide Street North near Elginfield Road in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Saida MOHAMED, a 28-year-old of Etobicoke, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Cannabis Control Act with:
- Operation while impaired - drugs
- Drive motor vehicle - no licence
- Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London on February 18, 2026.
