INTIMATE PARTNER VIOLENCE INVESTIGATION RESULTS IN CHARGES

On October 17, 2025, at 6:01 pm, members of the Oneida Nation Police and Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, for the report of a disturbance.
As a result, a 48-year-old of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault - Spousal
- Mischief - destroys or damages property
The victim suffered minor injuries.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London to speak to the charges at a later date.
