TRAFFIC COMPLAINT LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - Driver charged with impaired after traffic complaint received of possible impaired driver.
On April 18, 2026, at 3:01 am, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to the eastbound lanes of Highway 402 in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a possible impaired driver.
The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Hunter DEPOE, a 26-year-old of Burlington, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous Operation
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 19, 2026.
