INDIVIDUAL FROM ST. THOMAS CHARGED WITH FRAUD IN MIDDLESEX CENTRE

(MIDDLESEX CENTRE, ON) - A resident of St. Thomas has been charged with fraud after an investigation in Middlesex Centre.

On January 9, 2026, at 1:31 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to a business on Jefferies Road, in the Municipality of Middlesex Centre, for the report of a fraud.

Investigation revealed an employee of the business had reportedly cashed fraudulent cheques totalling just under $45,000.

As a result, Cheryl BRADY, a 60-year-old of St. Thomas, has been charged with:

  • Fraud Over $5000
  • Use, deals, acts on forged document

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in London on May 11, 2026, to speak to the charges.
