TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVER

(LONDON, ON) - Driver facing Impaired charge after traffic stop.
On March 22, 2026, at 1:52 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while travelling through the City of London, observed a suspicious vehicle travelling on Fanshawe Road West.
A traffic stop was initiated at a plaza located at 1205 Fanshawe Road West at which time the driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.
As a result, Grace PARKINS, a 22-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on April 29, 2026.
