TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO IMPAIRED CHARGE

(LONDON, ON) - Driver facing impaired charge after traffic stop.
On February 16, 2026, at 12:17 am, a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) while travelling through the City of London on Sunningdale Road East, observed a suspicious vehicle, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.
The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.
As a result, Peter WALL, a 46-year-old of London, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Operation while impaired - alcohol
- Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
- Dangerous operation
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London on March 13, 2026, to speak to the charges.
