(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) - Complaint of historical intimate partner violence leads to charges in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.
On January 29, 2026, at 4:00 pm, members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to an address in Southwest Middlesex for the report of an after-the-fact assault.
As a result of the investigation, a 31-year-old of Middlesex County has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault - Spousal
- Criminal Harassment - repeatedly follow, repeatedly communicate with, watch and beset, threatening conduct
- Sexual Assault
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in London at a future date to speak to the charges.
