CHARGE LAID FOLLOWING ASSAULT INVESTIGATION

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - An individual has been charged in connection with an assault investigation near Turkey Point.
On Saturday, September 6, 2025, at approximately 7:46 pm, officers from the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported assault on Mole Sideroad near Turkey Point.
The investigation revealed that a group of individuals had an interaction on the property, during which one person brandished an edged weapon toward the others. No injuries were reported., As a result, 72-year-old Brenda BARTLETT of Brantford, Ontario, was arrested and charged with the following alleged offence:
- Assault with a weapon - two counts
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, October 7, 2025.
