POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S HELP TO IDENTIFY SHOPLIFTING SUSPECT IN SIMCOE
(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual in connection with a shoplifting investigation in Simcoe.
On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 8:56 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a reported theft in progress at a business on West Street in Simcoe.
The investigation determined that an unidentified female, wearing a black jacket, black pants, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, a black face covering, and carrying a black bag, entered the store, concealed merchandise, and attempted to leave without paying. When confronted by an employee, the suspect fled on foot and was last seen travelling southbound on Talbot Street South.
