TWO INDIVIDUALS CHARGED FOLLOWING BUSINESS VEHICLE THEFT

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Two individuals have been charged following a stolen vehicle investigation in Delhi.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at approximately 2:36 pm, members of the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a motor vehicle theft in progress at a location on Highway 3, just outside of Delhi.
The investigation determined that two individuals entered a business, stole a set of keys for a pickup truck, and then fled the area in the stolen vehicle.
The suspects were later located by employees on the Delhi Rail Trail near Nixon Road and were taken into custody without incident when officers arrived.
As a result, 43-year-old Jason MILLEN of Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle, - Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, - Possession of break-in instruments, - Fail to comply with Probation Order
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Friday, January 23, 2026.
Also charged is 53-year-old Michael VANTHUYNE, of Norfolk County, with the following alleged offences:
- Theft over $5,000 of a motor vehicle, - Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, - Dangerous operation
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
