OPP INVESTIGATING ATTEMPTED BREAK AND ENTER NEAR SIMCOE

(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) - Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to an attempted break and enter near Simcoe.
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 3:16 pm, officers from the Norfolk County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter in progress on Blueline Road, just outside Simcoe.
The investigation determined that an unidentified individual, described as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black vest, and blue jeans, attempted to forcibly enter a barn on the property. Although entry was not gained, damage to the exterior of the barn was reported. The suspect fled the area on a bicycle.
